Meet Jill:

With a background in investigative journalism and creative writing, Jill transitioned to work for marketing and public relations agency GolinHarris International, followed by Edelman Public Relations Worldwide. This agency experience gave her the opportunity to work with clients such as Wrigley, Nestle Purina, H.J. Heinz and The American Lamb Board, as well as with acclaimed chefs Jim Botsacos, Pano Karatassos, Melissa Perello and Brooke Vosika. Eventually Jill was brought on internally as a "one-woman-PR-band" for client InterfaceFLOR, a sustainable modular carpet tile company.

Privileged to work for FLOR over the past several years, Jill helped to nearly double their business each year and garnished over 14 million dollars worth of media exposure through public relations, marketing support, and designer incentive program outreach. This buzz helped to merchandise and sell the web/catalog brand to high-volume retailers such as Target, CB2 and Land of Nod as well as over 150 notable boutique retailers.

In love with the world of design, imagination and creativity, Jill began J. Marie Agency in 2006 to broaden and challenge her acquired skills and growth strategies. Specializing in ongoing marketing and public relations, Jill works with local and national campaigns, having worked on projects ranging from domino magazine co-branding “bashes”, to media segments on OPRAH and HGTV. Since J. Marie’s inception, Jill has worked with clients not exclusive to C2 Paint, Colori Chicago, Living Design Studio, and Adler’s Hardware, along with many fung shui designers, newly budding fashion houses, epicureans, photographers, hardware boutiques & paint store owners across the country.
